9 Steps of Email is committed to making 9steps.email usable for everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. This statement covers 9steps.email and its subpages.
Conformance status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. 9steps.email is currently partially conformantwith WCAG 2.2 AA: most of the site meets the standard, but some content may not yet meet every criterion. No website can be certified perfectly and permanently accessible, so we treat accessibility as ongoing work — we meet the standard as closely as we can, test on every change, and fix issues as quickly as we can. “Partially conformant” is the W3C’s own term, and we use it deliberately rather than claiming more.
How we build and test the site
- Accessibility is built into how the site is made, not added afterward.
- Automated checks gate every change; they only catch part of the standard (roughly a third to a half), so we also review by hand for what they miss.
- We do not use accessibility overlay widgets. We build the site to be accessible rather than cover it with a plug-in.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of the major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) together with common assistive technology, including screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, and browser zoom. Core content stays readable if JavaScript or CSS is unavailable.
Known limitations
Last reviewed July 2026. As of that review, we are aware of the limitations below. Most involve third-party content we embed but do not fully control; where a component falls short, we provide another way to reach the same information or action.
- The cookie / consent banner and the tag manager that loads our analytics are provided by a third party (Google Tag Manager).
- The contact and subscribe forms’ spam-protection widget (Cloudflare Turnstile) is a third-party embed.
- Our audience analytics script (Bento) is loaded from a third party.
